Well, trying to. :) Here's an idea: I won't be able to do this every
month, simply because there are way too many photos to say anything
halfway meaningful about each one. But if several list members each
commented on a few photos, then each photo could be commented upon, and we
can spend more time talking about each individual one. Depending on how
many people are interested in participating, we might only have to talk
about 10, 5 or even a few photos each. If anyone is interested in doing
this, please let me know by replying off-list to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and I'll let you know when I receive your letter.
Coordinating it will be relatively simple, and I'll handle if if no one
else wants to step in and volunteer. Basically, I'll make an address book
group that consists of every commentator. Then, after the PUG appears
each month, I'll send an e-mail to the commentators telling them which
photos to critique, as in:
Arthur Dent: Agrajag, Zaphod, the Captain, Prak, Mr. Prosser, and Marvin.
Ford Prefect: Thor, Trillian, Slartibartfast, Hotblack Desiato, and Fenny.
Zaphod Beeblebrox: Lunkwill, Fook, Majikthise, Vroomfondel, and Deep
Thought.
Where AD, FP and ZB are the commentators, and every other name is that of
a PUG contributor. :) That way we only have to critique a few photos,
and then post them to the list when we're done. There's no rush, and
commentators can just post their critiques to the list when they're done,
but try to keep it to a few days after the PUG appears. So, anyone
interested in being a commentator or running the show? Just let me know
off-list. Thanks!
chris
