There used to be a product on the market called PEC12, which was touted as the Holy Grail of film cleaners. It worked pretty good, and smelled just like acetone. That would by my first choice for attempting to clean them (acetone, that is). Unfortunately, those "stains" are more than likely mould that is feeding on the emulsion. William Robb
