I know nothing about digital memory, so why is it that
you can buy 2 256MB cards for less than 1 512MB card? 


Also, one of Lexar's 512MB card mentions "Write
Acceleration" (WA) technology.  Is there some
advantage to this technology that is worth the extra
cost?  

Is one brand better or worse than another?

Is it safe to assume that the new *ist will work with
all of these cards?
