It's not like mechanical cameras, I don't think the Z-1/Z-1p needs any 
regular service. Just use them till something's broken, then replace that 
part. These cameras are covered by circuits and wires everywhere inside, 
stripping them down for no reason is likely to induce more trouble that it's 
worth. Besides, the soldering work would never be as well as the original 
factory work. Not worth the risk and cost imo.

I don't want to wait for a problem.  Just call it preventative
maintenance.
