So, I paid a visit to Linden Photo when I was in London, Ontario two
weeks ago. I told them I was looking for A 35mm lens. An initial
search by the staff turned up nothing...but then the retired owner
who comes in every now and then to help out his niece (the current
owner) shuffled off into the back and returned with a new in-the-box
SMC 35mm F3.5 which they have apparently been holding in inventory
since the 1970s! Just the lens I was looking for! Needless to say I
grabbed it. The price was 125 Canadian dollars...which I suspect was
original sticker price from when they first got it in stock.
