I was at a Travelogue some years back where the presenter had 3 Rollei
projectors, mounted in registration. The images had been taken with 3
Rollei SL66 cameras that had been mounted in the same manner. It was
truly spectacular. It was almost beyond what your eyes could have
absorbed if you were actually viewing the scene in person. There was
surprisingly little intrusion of the "splice" points where the images
met. I can only imagine the project that a taking session would involve
with a 3 gang camera setup!

Btw, the most _awesome_ viewing experience I've ever had was a slide
show of 6x12 panorama slides by photographer Arne Aasheim. It was
performed with two Götschmann 6x7 projectors. The 6x12 slides were cut
in two. Each half was mounted and aligned in 6x7 frames, and then
projected beside each other.
