What I know is that ISO speed is just a (usually good) starting point for your "calibration" of the camera - processing lab system. With an LX, film reflectivity influences all my pics, flash or not...
Actually, it would only influence shots taken at slower shutter speeds (I think 1/30th or slower - the manual does not say.) For faster speeds, the LX determines exposure based on the dot-pattern on the shutter.
