My Epson is a 2200. I haven't set out to actually get an accurate cost figure for 8.5 x 11 prints yet but it does seem to cost less to print than my Epson 1200. I use mostly Epson Premium Luster photo paper, with some enhanced matte and some of their watercolor paper now and then.
