Wow! That's amazing. Pentax and Zeiss jointly developed multi-coating technology. I've used Zeiss T* coated lenses on both Hasselblad and Contax cameras and have not found them to be inferior to SMC. I didn't keep my Pentax 43mm f/1.9 Ltd lens long enough to give it a real flare test against Zeiss because the Pentax F 50mm f/1.7 was a lot sharper, in my opinion.
