Thats how sticky mirror has manifested itself on all of my LX bodies. The
first sign of a dead battery is the readout flickering. Unfortunately, by
the time that happens, autoexposure has already been affected, and the
camera is underexposing by several stops. I have learned the hard way to
always have spare batteries along with the LX. It is a pretty unforgiving
camera.
