Yep, a firmware change would do it. Stop-down metering (using the DOF preview) at the very least. *If* the firmware that controls the camera's mechanical and exposure systems is in the same memory as the digital imaging firmware it would be possible to achieve this with a firmware upgrade in the future. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
