Well, with the Optio S, that offers only jpeg, I download the original file
to either my hard drive or CD.  If I want a print, I do any sizing,
cropping, or any other manipulation I decide I want.  I then print the
manipulated file, then close it without saving.  If I think I might want an
additional copy later, I may save it as a tif or psd file.
