Since this camera has a smaller than 35mm frame size sensor there is a possiblity that pentax will ( or already has) issue lenses that only cover the smaller sensor.
If this is true I am assuming there would be some kind of mechanical keying such that any kmount lens, even the ones covering the small sensor will fit the *istD body, but they would not fit the 35mm frame bodies. Anyone notice any new special notches etc, on the istD body lens mount which could facilitate this type of function?
