One of these year's I'm going to get over to Surfer's Paradise for the CART (now OWRS) race. When I do, I'll probably take an extra week or two of vacation. That may provide an opportunity for any Oz-based PDMLers to get their hands on some of the more esoteric Pentax gear - apart from the *ist-D (and MZ-S and PZ-1p) I'll have the FA* 250-600 in the case, plus the FA* 80-200 and an A* 300/2.8
We (my wife will be with me) will probably pop over to NZ as well; we were there 25 years ago, and would like to get back to visit. We don't do anything strenuous (or too primitive either) nowadays; my wife is currently recuperating from knee replacement surgery (and the other knee will need to be replaced fairly soon).
