My favorite Pentax lens is my Pentax 6x7 Super Multi-Coated Takumar 1:3.5/55mm
lens. Not only has it given me great results. but it commants respect. At a
crowed site recently, I was pushed aside and trod upon by other tourists who were
impatient at the time I was taking to set up and shoot with my SuperProgram.
When I came back with the 6x7 smf yjr 55mm lens (100mm filter size), the same
people seemed to get out of my way or go around me. I guessed that I just looked
more professional, or at least more serious, with that big chunck of glass.
For my spotmatics, I still like my SMC Takumar 1:1.4/50mm, and although it may
make me a heretic, for the SuperProgram I really like my Sears Multi-Coated
f1:4.0 80-200mm Auto Zoom.
