Many thanks to Mishka, Frank, Chris and all others that helped on the MIR-47
and Vivitar 19mm threads.
Looking forward to any test data when you guys who have a MIR, get chance to
post it.

The widest I currently have is a 28-300 Tamron LD AS, which is very useful
when travelling.
I'd like wider for some occasions, but I dont know ... how wide I want to
go.
Example @ http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2017940 shows the
limit I hit with my 28mm, which was disappointing, I couldn't get what i
wanted even when laying on the floor.

Expense is one way of deciding, but these non primes look good and your
feedback is encouraging, so I'm going to pursue this to an acquisition.
I'm an amateur so I dont have much time to surf around. Does anyone know of
a site(s) that helps illustrate the relative differences moving across the
different focal lengths, say 24, 20,19,17,15,8 (!!!). Obviously in this case
it would need to be against the same subject more or less, such that visual
comparison of the angle of view is easiest to comprehend.
Thanks
Ian
