alright then, in a digital camera market that is supposed to grow significantly this year, Pentax has revised downward its digital camera sales forecasts. the difference between a financial analyst working for a fund and a technology analyst is that billions of dollars will be moved around based on the financial analyst's conclusions, whether it is right or wrong. herd mentality only makes it worse. a company in Pentax's position can't afford any doubts as to its ability to remain competitive. Canon and Sony are both going to announce 20 new digital cameras this year. that's one every 19 days. what's to make a Pentax stand out to someone who doesn't already own one?
