Hi guys - yep, it will constitute a tax deduction but will make little difference to me this year. I will already be making a "loss" due to purchases such as *istD, studio lights, new PC, laptop etc which already add up to well over $12k. Of course, I am not REALLY making a loss, but being my first year in business, it will appear that way, thus I won't be paying any tax anyways. Yes, I will be able to claim it as a tax deduction but it doesn't really help that much when I won't be paying any tax anyways... (It will carry through to next year, but that doesn't help now! lol).
