You are absolutely correct.  I just loaded a roll of Seattle Filmworks film
into the camera for testing (what else is it good for?), and it indeed
vibrates when the film advances.  And I thought I knew everything there was
to know about my new ME :)

Another thing I meant to ask, the M 50mm F2 lens that came with it is very
stubborn turning the aperture ring from F22 to F2, but turns quite easily
from F2 to F22.  Any insight into this one?
