Hello again! To respond to some responses...
> "Why did you pick the 10D..." > I didn't pick the C*n*n 10D, my brother lent it to me and I haven't given it back! He wasn't really using it, and he liked my pictures so much he's letting me keep it for as long as I keep using it. With it he lent a 16-35mm L lens and a 35-300mm cheapo which turns out to take fine pictures racked out to 300mm. And the IstD wasn't out yet, either. I was thinking of getting a C*n*n S50 at the time so he lent me his 10D to "play with digital" to see if I would like it. > "Are you selling..." > No, no, no, I'm not selling my MXs or M lens, at least not yet. They have way to much sentimental value, and for what I've paid for the stuff I'd not get back any appreciable percentage of what I paid, so why bother. I don't or didn't plan on not using the Pentax stuff, I've got two "ready to go" camera bags, one filled with my day-to-day Pentax stuff and the other with the 10D gear, but when I consider what I would have to go through to get a picture, I grab the bag with the 10D in it every time. > "PhotoCD sucks..." > No argument from me! I was thinking my transition to digital would be a nice slide-scanner, but I kept reading about problems with Kodachrome slides and some wouldn't do B+W well and so forth. So I waited and waited... I still want to get one to turn all my old slides into digital files, but I can never spare the money. (It must be those darn ink cartridges!!) Thanks for listening! - ThomasH
