I have been wondering why Pentax AF cameras (crippled KAF mount excepted) will not show the aperture setting in the viewfinder when the aperture ring is set to other than "A".
It seems to me that A lenses provide enough information to the camera through the electronic contacts and aperature simulator for the camera to "know" what aperture is set. Anybody know the reason?
