Be aware that there is an Auto version that includes KA couplings, as wellLooks like this is the auto version, too. I'm wondering about how the aperture setup works, though. Seems like there is a bit of an inconsistency between manual and "auto" and manual setup. - But perhaps that's normal for this kind of telekonverter; maybe the camera doesn't "see" the light stolen by the converter in terms of f-stops.
as a non-Auto version that will be slightly cheaper.
Actually, after somewhat closer inspection, I think it's consistent enough. What I do see is that:
1. Values of lens settings are used directly; the body doesn't
understand that there is something between the body and lens.
2. Manual aperture settings can no longer be displayed on the LCD
screen or in the viewfinder (with lenses where this is possible on
direct connection.)
3. Minimum aperture value no longer varies with focal length the way
it normally will with newer zooms.I guess 2) and 3) just means that the coupling supports only plain KA, not KA2/KAF2.
