This is a bit related to my rant of last week about on site sales and is there to much competion. One thing i completly forgot to include and was my main point, was that in my area a lot still work for film and wonder why i charge $20.00 for an 8x10 when they'll doi it for $10.00. The other point i wanted to bring up,you just did Tom. I now see a lot of parents and kids with 300D's and recently D70's all lined up infont, beside and behind me,shooting kids, friends etc. Why go see the onsite guy,i''ll just print your pic out at home for you.Just give me $5.00 for the ink and paper.People pass business cards to people right in front of me,knowing i'm there for the show organizers. There have been days of no sales and i still have to pay my guy a minimum we work out together. Thats why i'v gone more to web page than on site. No people to pay.Although the beginer shows still do well for me. Wont give those 2-3 a year up just yet.LOL Dave
