Derby, Optio S4 doesn't make that noise, at least my daughter's didn't when I 'borrowed' it.
How do you like the S5i? Any way to get raw pix from it? I took some shots with the S4 on a visit to Washington, DC. After lugging around a PZ-1p with a 28-70 zoom, it was a real treat. Fit neatly in my shirt pocket. Can you help enable me??? :-) Regards, Bob S.
