Thanks Christian, that's the kind of thing I want...simple. I well understand the trade-offs between effectiveness/convenience/light loss. Tissue over the lens and a portable umbrella are at the exteme ends of the scale. One doesn't help much and the other I'd never use because it's not practical. I'll try one of these Stofen gizmos, looks like a good idea. Seems it would throw a little light in all directions, might just work!
