let's see you want it wide, fast, and small. Why not add sharp and cheap too to your wish list while you are at it?
I think you are chasing a dream, there isnt going to be any lenses that wide that fast and if there were they certainly wouldn't be small. The cost would be astronomical if you wanted good performance wide open too. At those extreme angles you are going to need to stop down to get decent corner performance, I suggest either use a faster film/sensor speed or forget about it.... I just snagged a project that requires the use if a fast wide lens. I've an 18/3,5 but something faster would be more better. The A20/2.8 has always been of interest, and I can borrow one of those if that's what it comes down to, but is there something faster for the Pentax that may even be a bit wider than 20mm (a 15/1.4 would be VERY cool, especially if it took a 52,mm filter <LOL>). So, what's out there, especially in a manual focus lens, or one that affords a good manual focus feel. Did I read here about a Sigma 18/1.8? I have such an aversion to Sigmas, Tokinas and Tamrons, but a lot of people here seem to use 'em, so maybe it's time to at least check one out. Shel
