I think maybe Canon has alienated the camera stores by being such sluts with their digital Rebel.
Maybe Canon has the right idea, pushing Eos 300Ds at computer buyers who might
not have thought about getting a DSLR originally?
If all they want to do is buy the marketplace, then they certainly have the right idea.
The people at my camera shop are taking a rather dim view of it, since they are the ones who get to provide after sales service on product they haven't sold.
