Yet another example of "rip-off Britain," eh?

What accounts for the huge difference in price in dollar terms? If anything, the UK price should be *lower* in dollar terms, given the relative strength of sterling against both the US Dollar and the Yen. I'm not aware of a tariff restriction, either, so why this difference?
