Your photograph doesn't show any EXIF info. But according to the DOF master a 35mm lens on a APS size senser should give you sharpness at infinity at F 8 if the distance is set to app. 6.2 meter/20 feet. This way you'll get maximum sharpness in the foreground (like yours) and still sharp at infinity.
