I believe that you are correct about the recent prices having increased for Pentax lenses. That is what it appears to me and I personally don't like it one bit.

I was quite amazed by how high this auction went. When it first came up I assumed that based on JL Colwell's database of lens prices that $200-2200 for the lot would be the high end. I assumed that the 135/1.8 was worth somewhere around $1200 or so, the 15/3.5 about $500 and the 24/2 less than $400 based on the database numbers and the fact that you can buy it new for $350 at B&H. So $3000 seems a bit high for the set. I would have loved to have the 135/1.8 and was ready to bid up to $2000 and sell the too wides but it was not to be. Maybe the 135 will be sold singly...I wouldn't count on it...but I really wish it would...

I have noticed a sudden increase in pentax prices lately. It can't all be because of the istDs, I'm trying to buy another MZS and the bidding is closing for close to $200 less the a new one from KEH. There were 6 F1.7 50mm in the last 3 weeks and a couple 1.4. I a bit worried, I wonder if I'll be able to afford Pentax from now on Feroze Peter J. Alling wrote:

I think there was a higher auction for an LX system with the winder the motor drive a pair of battery packs the battery grip 2 or three different finders and a whole bunch of lenses, all described as like new or in box which ended for higher but this is well, amazing.
