Hi Bob,
 I think you are right about the resolving power, it is a good piece of
glass.
The plane was on final approach for landing. I took some panned shots also
of planes taking off, and they were pretty crisp too, but not with the
wooden
tripod, I`ll try the wooden one on the next outing.
