It seems my husband is now the proud owner of a very good condition K1000 we
picked up at one of the local camera stores today. It's in great condition
except the previous proud owner had her name, address and phone number
engraved on the bottom plate -- one of the fanciest and nicest engraving
jobs I've seen, I must say. My husband doesn't intend to ever resell it, so
we're not too concerned about resale value, but he does feel kind of funny
about it. Does anyone know where we could possibly get a new (old) metal
base plate for it?
