Hi...you can try the Classified section of Shutterbug magazine, in their
CAMERA PARTS FOR SALE section (no. 29).  Or it could be that you have a
camera repair place nearby that happens to have some old inoperable K1000s
being used strictly for parts, and you may be able to buy the baseplate that
way...good luck.
