My AF360FGZ became ill recently and decided to stop zooming. It's only
usable at manual 24mm zoom. I took a trip to one of the local camera shops
yesterday and picked up a Promaster FTD 7000M. I give up P-TTL for regular
TTL and lose high speed sync and wireless. I gain swivel as well as tilt,
and gain a small second flash which allows catchlights while using bounce.
Guide number is 138 in feet at ISO 100. Results appear so far to be as good
or better than the 360. With the ist*D at ISO 200 results are SLIGHTLY
underexposed, but dead on at 400 and 800. Fair amount of overexposure at
1600 and 3200.
