Absurd speculation 1: They could cut these in half and make two 35 mm. sized full-frame sensors. Absurd speculation 2: Having cut the sensor in half, the halves could be placed in a new 3-D stereo camera. Somewhat more serious speculation: What if there was an adapter to use 35 mm lenses on the 645D with full functionality, and the camera was designed to ignore or cut off the signal from the sensors beyond 24 x 36 mm. when it sensed a 35 mm. lens. Crazy, perhaps, but it would open a whole new world of lenses to medium format shooters. And Pentax 35 mm. primes would become even scarcer. Joe
