Sorry to send two replies. A good choice (sharpest of affordable zooms
in this range currently in production) is the FA 80-200 f4.7-5.6. Check
its rating on Photodo. It is also lightweight and compact. The zooms
that go to 300/320 tend to be soft after 200.

Better yet is the discontinued SMC F70-210 f4-5.6. You must find a used
one (Ebay or KEH). It is a very sharp lens - one of the sharpest zooms
Pentax has made. Be sure to get the SMC lens. Pentax also made a Takumar
70-210, but it has no multicoating. Avoid it.
