You are comparing a ten year old camera sold at discount price with a brand new one.
Some of us bought the Z-1p before Pentax decided to dump it in order to clear stock.
Hence, I paid the same for the Z-1p as I now pay for the MZ-S. If the Z-1p is all you
need in a camera theres no point in buying an MZ-S or any other camera on the planet.
