No,no,no.. you got it wrong, I believe:
Making the photographs look sharp - doesn't mean they have been sharpened in
PS. Not at all.

If I get dressed up in my white linen trousers, matching jacket, shirt and
tie, with polished Bubetti shoes - I look sharp - at least someone told me
once :-)

Sharp means (here) elegant, posh, great, stylish etc.
