#2.  I like the other monuments in the distance.  Gives a better sense
of the isolation of the place for me.  I also like the stump in the
foreground, being almost the same apparent size as the mitten, even
though we know it isn't.  Almost kind of funny.  <g>

I usually like such things, but the overhanging branch in the
foreground doesn't work so well for me in #1.
