the 645D should have a 1.3 crop factor. the same problem exists to a lesser
degree, all else being equal, but that remains to be seen.

The Medium Format solution may be to Pentax' advantage.
If 35 lenses don't have a good enough angle for straight-enough
sensor coverage, medium format lenses certainly do!
With all of the extra distance available,
the angular improvement will be to the larger negs advantage.
