I suspect this never made it to the list. I never saw it. If it's a dupe, please accept my apologies. Fridayt saw another gallery crawl in Birmingham, Michigan. The gallery that has been showing some of my work was on the tour, so they asked me to come in and do some meet and greet. A jazz band parked out in front, and we had a good turnout. Lots of fun. I posted some pics for the owners, but I thought I'd reference them here as well. Most are shot at ISO 1600, some at 800. Exposures vary from f2 @ 1/30 to f4 @ 1/30. All were shot with the FA 35/2 on the *istD. The light was a bit difficult. I was looking for shots of the people in the gallery, not the walls. But the lighting is all aimed at the walls of course, so controlling background highlights was difficult. And since I shot both inside and outside the gallery (the front doors were open), I had to deal with a mix of tungsten and mercury vapor lighting. I converted them all to tiffs in PSCS, color correcting as I did so. Then, since BW felt right for these pics, I converted them to grayscale with the channel mixer. The conversions varied some, but most were about 86 red. 6 green and 4 blue. with the constant set at -4.
