In the books I've read regarding IR, partly cloudy and bright overcast
conditions are no reason to put the camera away. You just won't get those
black skies. Also, I would imagine there's some compensation in exposure.
Another point I'd like to make: I know you will be using IR for a wedding.
Most people who shoot IR will take pics of foliage and such to take
advantage of how flora comes out white. I would encourage you to also shoot
woods and metal as they turn out pretty fantastic with IR.
