there are a whole bunch of good
K/M mode zooms both by pentax in the late 70's and
joined by third parties in the 80's.
We didn’t even discuss third party lenses
but add in all those and there are millions
and millions of perfectly good nice lenses
that could be substatially more usable
with K/M AE as opposed to the green button kludge...

How many variable speed K and M zoom lenses are there? If they exist at all,
do you really want to use them?
