even in NYC, there are only one or two. only one i could find easily via the
Internet was in San Francisco. they weren't recent model lenses either. the
glass may be the same, but the electronics aren't.

That works for some people. I checked around for a while, no one in my
neck of the woods has a 600mm lens for Nikon or Canon.
