On 27/9/05, Godfrey DiGiorgi, discombobulated, unleashed:

> I was going to be working in San Leandro

Hey Godders, when I was but a lad, we sailed from there many a weekend.
My dad built a 23 foot sloop and it was berthed at San Leandro. Sometimes
we would make Angel Island and stay til Sunday around the back in
Hospital Cove, exploring the island during the day. It used to be the
immigration station and rises to 750 feet or thereabouts. Not a lot of
people know that :-)

Cheers,
  Cotty
