Correction to that last post. An 8x10, 300ppi file will be about 20 megs when it's in 8-bit mode. However, you might find this a bit cumbersome to upload from a dial-up. For this type of mag, a file of pub, a file of about 5x7 at 300ppi will be sufficient. That will be about 9 megs. You can save it as a high quality jpeg (9) rather than maximum. Once compressed, the file will be less than 1 meg and reasonably easy to deliver via e-mail from a dial-up.
