Normally, I am pretty allergic to zooms, and positively anaphalactic to Sigma zooms. But I recently picked up the 28-70/2.8 EX DF zoom. While I haven't had it for long to see how well it holds up mechanically, there are no misgivings about it optically. Feels quite nice manual focussing too.
