Subject: SMCP M-100/2.8 versus SMCP 105/2.8?? Help!
Before I spend a good bit of money, how much better is
the K105/2.8 than the M100/2.8?
I'm most interested in bokeh and wide open performance.
The size doesn't matter. ;-)
I can't comment on the M, but I do have the 105.
It is an exceedingly sharp and contrasty lens, but the bokeh can be kind of
funny. Have a look ar Fred's lens gallery.
I like the thing, but it needs backgrounds that are already pretty
smooth.I'm sort of on the lookout for an A100/2.8 (not the macro, have one
already).
I loved the length of my 150/3.5, and would like a digital replacement.
