Wow! That's a huge lens. Congratulations. I can understand your concern. I certainly never spent this much at once, on photographic equipment. I guess I never will. Not that I don't WANT to, but... I do use a 510mm set-up sometimes. A 300mm and a 1.7 adapter. But the 600mm delivers a much brighter view finder picture and more enlargement. Probably much better quality as well. And faster speeds, of course. Are you shooting birds or aeroplanes? Regards
