An MZ-S is pro grade camera as Pentax define it. It isn't supposed to
be an EOS1 (which BTW isn't anymore of a pro camera than the Z-1p).

What is this much talked about "pro" character of a camera? In my
opinion it's more than just features - the camera must be constructed
in such a way that it's capable of withstanding rough professional
use to be called a "pro" piece of gear. From this perspective the EOS-
1N or V is a pro camera and the Z-1P isn't. I used to have this
camera and it was excellent + brimming with features but rather
fragile. MZ-S is slimmer on features but seems to be much more a
modern-era equivalent of the wonderful and truly professional LX,
than the Z-1P.
